Seminars and hands on experience with record companies, publishers, agencies, musicians and singers were highly instrumental in establishing the first phase of our business, Band Management. Shooga Katz are our longest standing cover band. Formed in 1995, they are still powering on today and are now part of a network including cover bands Party Central, Hyjinx, East Coast Horns, Sassy and Cocker Down Under.

Years of analysing the entertainment market brought us to several conclusions. In reality it is simple business sense:

a) You need to spend money in order to make it.
b) Marketing and promotion are definitely the basis for success when selling any product or service.
c) You have to supply the demand, i.e. it's no use trying to sell a Tiny Tim Tribute Band unless the demand is there.

After years of struggle attempting to find quality, affordable multimedia services to cater to our acts we finally came to the conclusion that if you want something done right, do it yourself. It was at this point we decided to study and perfect our skills in video production, graphic and web design and interactive CDROM authoring. With hard work, persistence and determination we eventually set a higher bench mark for band's to market and promote themselves.

Due to the increasing awareness of our skills and product, other avenues started to open up. Long standing professionals in the multimedia Industry were keen to network with us. This brought about regular involvement with other corporations and businesses, further expanding our field of expertise.

We currently offer businesses of all sizes and genres quality, affordable multimedia services from web site design and interactive CDROM profiles to training and sales video presentations.

Never happy to sit on our laurels, our latest expansion, Altar-mate Weddings, will be launching in 2006. HMP Entertainment are determined to continue networking with other likeminded people and we look forward to developing, nurturing and encouraging new talent along the way.
